How do I know what version my browser is using?
Whatever browser you use, you can know the version and whether you need to update it. To help you, here is the procedure to follow depending on the browser you are using.
Internet Explorer / Edge: After starting your browser, click on the “?” in the menu bar, and then select “About Internet Explorer”. The window will appear, indicating the version of the browser you are using.
Firefox : After starting Firefox, click the “?” symbol in the menu bar, then click “About Firefox”. A window will appear, indicating the version of Firefox you are using.
Safari : After starting Safari, click on « Safari » in the menu bar, then select « about Safari ». An information window will appear indicating the version of Safari you are using
Chrome : After starting Chrome, click on the key or square icon (3 horizontal lines) in the menu bar, and then select “About Google Chrome”. An information window will appear indicating which version of Chrome you are using.
How do I update my browser?
This will also depend on what browser you use.
Internet Explorer / Edge: This is not done from a function built into the software, you must use the Windows Update service. This service is usually accessible from the Windows Control Panel.
Firefox: After the launch of Firefox, click on the "?" in the menu bar, then select about Mozilla Firefox. An information window will appear, indicating the version of Firefox you are using. The update check is performed automatically. If a new version is available, click the "Apply Update" button.
