SKILLS > CONSULTATION
You'll then need to fill out the following information:
Type: In order to categorize Skills, you must create a Type, which you can subsequently assign to several skills. Ex: Recreational, Competitive, Advanced, etc.
Name: Determine the name of the Skill, which will be visible in the Skills sub-tab and in the client's Skills tab.
Description: Provide a short description of the Skill.
Add an age and/or gender restriction to the skill if required. Administrators can always override the restrictions.
Age: Select the minimum and maximum ages and whether or not the participant must have reached that age on the date of attribution or a date you specify. We suggest toggling the Date of Birth option on your Form to Visible Required to ensure clients indicate their age.
Gender: Clients do not need to specify their gender unless an organization requires it. If your skill has gender restrictions, be sure your Form has the Gender option toggled to Visible Required.
- If your skill is restricted to females, only participants who have identified their gender as 'Female' may have the skill attributed.
- If your skill is restricted to males, only participants who have identified their gender as 'Male' may have the skill attributed.
- If your skill is restricted to clients who preferred not to say their gender, only participants who have chosen 'Prefer not to say' may have the skill attributed.
- It is possible to choose more than one option. For example, people who have referred themselves as 'Female' and people who have chosen 'Prefer not to say' could have the skill attributed.
