How do I create a Promotion for my Club?

Amilia has many different promotion options to answer your needs!  You can access these promotion types via the Promotions Tab:

 Via the Promotions tab-Click on +New Promotion and choose an option:

 

Below is a brief description of each promotion type you can use. In addition, when you select a promotion there is a description and example of how the promo will behave when applied.  

Promotion Code: Discount is applied if member enters the appropriate Code.

Coupon Code: One time discount is applied if member enters the appropriate Code.

Early Bird: Discount is applied if member registers between specific dates.

By Age:  Discount is applied if member corresponds to applicable Age.

By Location: Discount is applied depending on the place of residence of member.

Question: Discount is applied depending on how member answers a question.

Membership Required: Discount is applied if member has applicable membership.

Loyalty: Generates a unique code when client purchases eligible item. Discount code can be applied on a subsequent eligible purchase. 

External Coupon: Discount is applied if a 3rd party coupon code is entered 

Multi-Person: Discount when multiple people from the same account purchase eligible items. Each person receives the same discount according to the set rules. Ex – Discount by 10% for 2 people = 10% off for 1st person, 10% off for 2nd person

Multi Person (Multi Discount): Discount when multiple people from the same account purchase eligible items. Each person receives a different discount according to the set rules Ex – Discount by 10% for 2 people = Full price for 1st person, 10% off for 2nd person

Combo: Discount when a person purchases X amount of applicable items. Ex – Discount by 10% for 2 items = 10% off first item and 10% off second item.

Multi Combo (Multi discount): Different discounts when a person purchases X amount of applicable items. Ex – Discount by 10% for 2 items = Full price for 1st item, 10% off 2nd item

 * Not every kind of promotion can apply to every purchasable item – be sure to check which kinds of items are eligible for each promotion*

You can't apply a promotion on an activity, membership or merchandise at $0. To this end, those items will not appear in your eligible items list.

The best way to test how a promotion works is to play around in the Store! Using a test account, add eligible items to your cart, then click Checkout to view your order summary, as all promotions are applied at checkout.
