Auto Archive Completed Activities

At the end of a season, we are having to manually go through our activities and archive those that have ended.  It would be great if programs would be automatically archived at the end date of the activity so they wouldn't get mixed in with our new season's programs, and to save us time from going through one by one.

    Hi there,

Thanks for sharing your idea! We've heard similar suggestions from other organizations that have activity categories dividing up a program into specific date ranges.

Will you clarify why you hide activities after the end date has passed?

    Hi Nathalie,

Our programs operate seasonally, so four times a year we basically swap out all the old activities for the new ones.  Some activities last longer than one season, so those will remain active and visible, but we have to hide the rest manually.  If we didn't hide the activities that have ended it would clutter up our program listing very quickly and make it harder for our customers to find what they're looking for/confuse them about what activities are currently being offered.  Let me know if you have any other questions!

I agree and for front desk staff who are working only occasionally, they don't always notice the Hidden qualifier.

I don't want them archived.  But if they go to the bottom of the page or collapse so you can't see them, until you need to access them.  I don't want to have to contact support to unarchive them for me.

Id like to second this thought.  Its annoying to have activities that are completed still showing up.
